DC Ranch Village Health Club & Spa Tennis Center is currently looking for a fulltime Club/Towel/Locker Room/ Housekeeping Attendant with exceptional customer service skills!

Job Summary: 

Maintain cleanliness of club facility through general housekeeping and towel laundering

Summary of Essential Functions:
Attract and Retain members by consistently providing excellent customer service
Responsible for interacting with employees, members and guests in a manner aligned with the People, Places and Programs components of the Village Standards
Maintains Cleanliness of the facility in all areas of club
Ensure towels and robes are laundered
Ensure towels are stocked in locker and fitness areas
Ensure all amenities are stocked in locker rooms and spa locker areas (if applicable)
Clean all courts, inside and out (if applicable)
Clean tennis patio, sidewalks, parking lots (if applicable)
Mops, washes, waxes and polishes floors and vacuums carpets
Picks up litter and removes garbage from all areas of the club regularly
Operates cleaning equipment and tools
Performs other duties as assigned which may include the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
Attend all staff meetings as required

Attention to detail

Ability to work independently
Must be a team player
Strong customer/guest service skills
May be required to work evenings and weekends as needed
Required to maintain a physical presence within the Village to perform assigned duties

Knowledge/Skills Preferred:
Experience in high-end health/country club environment
Hotel Housekeeping, or commercial laundry
Must be able to successfully pass a background check.

Required Abilities 

Physical Activity
This position requires standing, walking, lifting, fingering, grasping, reaching, wiping, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling and stooping.  Standing for long periods of time. Substantial repetitive movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.  Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Involved in activities where one must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to others accurately, loudly, or quickly. Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.

Physical Requirement
Medium to heavy work involving frequent standing and bending.  Frequently exerting 10-30 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, and pull or otherwise move objects. Occasionally exerting 50- 100 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body

Visual Requirement
This position requires close visual acuity to determine the cleanliness, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations of facilities cleanliness and orderliness.

Working Conditions
This position may be subject to hazards.  Including a variety of cleaning appliances, machines and tools.  Physical conditions will include working extensively with appliances, tools and equipment, moving mechanical parts, electrical current, vibrations, wet surfaces and floors. This position has reasonable exposure to atmospheric conditions such as high heat, fumes, odors and chemicals.
