The Summer Tennis Camp Instructor is responsible for assisting The Tennis Professional to teach children’s private and group lessons, generating awareness to members and guests of the clubs that are interested in tennis lessons. Also, to create a safe, fun and enthusiastic environment to engage children in sport-specific exciting fitness-based activities.
Summary Of Essential Functions:
Attract and retain members by consistently providing excellent customer service
Responsible for interacting with employees, members and guests in a manner aligned with the People, Places and Programs components of the Village Standards
Assist Tennis Professionals with Summer Tennis Camp Junior Groups
Explain and demonstrate activities to participants
Provide a safe childcare environment by routinely checking for any safety hazards
- Must have the ability to obtain CPR Certification through Company training
One of year experience with youth groups
Must be High School level Tournament Player
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Must be at least 18 years of age or older
High School diploma or GED required
Must successfully pass a criminal background check as a contingency of employment
Related work involves standing, bending, twisting, reaching, running and stretching
- Previous tennis club/camp counselor/coach experience in a resort like setting
