Job Summary:
Deliver exceptional guest services, including manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, and other professional nail treatments, in a luxury spa environment. All services should be performed with the highest level of hospitality, technical skill, and professionalism. The ideal candidate has several years of hands-on nail care experience, demonstrates genuine commitment to sanitation, nail health, and guest experience, and is motivated to build and grow a loyal clientele within our member-focused community.
Summary Of Essential Job Functions:
• Attract and retain members by consistently providing excellent customer service
• Interact with employees, members, and guests in a manner aligned with the People, Places, and Programs components of the Village Standards
• Be knowledgeable about all nail services, products, and protocols to ensure guest comfort and confidence
• Stock, prepare, and maintain nail stations and treatment areas for guest arrival, ensuring all supplies and products are clean, organized, and fully replenished
• Uphold all sanitation and sterilization standards as required by law and by Village spa policies and procedures, including proper disinfection of tools, implements, and work areas
• Promptly and courteously greet each guest and escort them to and from the nail area, locker rooms, or relaxation room as appropriate
• Perform all nail services with professionalism and technical expertise, prioritizing guest satisfaction while remaining on time for the next appointment
• Provide guests with knowledgeable nail care guidance, including recommended home-care products and maintenance routines
• Maintain schedules and work hours as booked, arriving prepared and ready to perform services
• Process and transport dirty linens/laundry as needed
• Keep current with continuing education and maintain all required nail technician licenses/certifications
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
• May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Required to maintain a physical presence within the Village to perform assigned duties
Knowledge/Skills Required:
• Current State of Arizona Nail Technician or Cosmetology license
• Ability to perform nail services efficiently while maintaining a high degree of quality and sanitation
• Obtain CPR certification within 30 days of hire through Company training
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must possess a cooperative and positive attitude, exercising reason which includes being a team player and being comfortable in a set schedule environment
• Must be able to interact professionally and with sensitivity to the needs of guests and co-workers
• Must be dependable and able to adjust to schedule changes, including cancellations and additions
Spa hours are: 9am - 5pm Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday/Saturday, 9am-7pm Thursday, 10am-3pm Sunday
Knowledge/Skills Preferred:
Previous Nail Technician experience in a luxury private club, resort or spa

Physical Activity
This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and sitting, lifting, reaching, pinching, grasping, and feeling with hands and fingertips to perform detailed nail care services. Substantial repetitive movements of the wrists, hands, and fingers to perform nail care services. Must manage and perform nail care services for guests, including nail shaping, cuticle care, polishing, pedicure services, and related treatments for both hands and feet, including hand, forearm, foot, and calf massage as part of nail services, all within the scope of state licensure and spa protocols. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Involved in activities where one must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to others accurately or quickly. Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Requires the ability to receive detailed information through written and oral communication.
Physical Requirement
Light to Medium work involving sitting most of the time. Walking, bending, reaching, and applying pressure with hands and fingertips are required constantly. Frequently exerting 10–15 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, or pull during nail services and product handling. Position requires talking and listening.
Visual Requirement
This position requires close visual acuity to determine nail care needs, cleanliness, neatness, accuracy and thoroughness of the work assigned.
Working Conditions
Physical conditions include exposure to spa treatment appliances, tools and equipment, electrical current, vibrations, wet surfaces and floors. This position has frequent exposure to atmospheric conditions such as high heat, fumes, odors, chemicals, polish and oils. This position is frequently performed in close quarters and in spa treatment areas.
